Was a pall bearer at his uncle Elroy Haddox’s funeral in 1915 (see his Notes).


- Miss Golda Davis was issued U.S. Passport No. 12221 on 1 April 1921.  She was born at Marshall, VA on 18 March 1890; her father was born at & was residing at Marshall, VA.  The purpose was for travel to Cuba on the P & O Line from the port of Key West on 25 March 1921.  Her Oath of Allegiance was sworn on 25 March 1921 at Key West, Florida.
- Her description was:  Age 30 years, Stature 5' 5", Eyes blue, Nose regular, Mouth regular; Chin round; Hair brown, Complexion Fair, Face oval.  Certification of her identification was by John M. Clinton B. Haddox died in 1874, seized & possessed of real estate, leaving a widow and six children. There has been no division of the estate. W.A. Haddox agrees to purchase from W.G. Davis (widower), A. Warren Davis, W. Clinton Davis, Miss W. Golder Davis & Clarence R. Davis (the husband & children, the heirs at law of the late Edwina C. Davis), their share of the 493.5 acre farm, which was conveyed by Alpheas Gibson, executor, to C.B. Haddox on 10/24/1854 (I:140, K:466, L:122). Golda Pollock, 47 year old married female, born at Marshall, VA on 18 March 1891 (sic), living at 4448 Greenwich Parkway, Washington, D.C., was on the Passenger List of persons sailing on the S.S. Aquitania from New York on 24 December 1938, returning to New York on 3 January 1939.  With her was Joseph Pollick, 50 year old married male, born born 7 Sept 1880 at Atlanta, GA, living at same address.  (Ancestry.com* - image of Passenger List, pg 14)

On Sunday, October 11, 1964, GOLDA DAVIS POLLOCK of Marshall, Va., beloved wife of the late Joseph W. - Golda Davis Pollock, 74 year old white female Housewife, widow of Joseph W. Pollock, resident of Marshall, Fauquier Co., VA, born 18 March 1890 in Virginia to W. Golder Davis & Edwend (sic) C. Haddux (sic), died at Winchester Memorial Hospital, Winchester, Frederick Co., VA on 11 Oct 1964 at 9:30 A.M.  Informant was Mr. Clarence Davis.

- Cause of Death was Coronary Thrombosis of 1 hour's duration.  Certified by Sam. T. Adams, M.D., who had attended her since June 1950.

- Arrangements were by Royston Funeral Home, Marshall, VA.  Burial was at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
